How to use
- Add the exercises you actually do in Exercises, usually ten to fifteen.
- Each workout, add a row in Sessions, open it and log every set inside it with the weight and reps.
- Runs, walks and rides go in Sessions too, with Minutes and Distance. Pace works itself out.
- Once a week, look at Personal bests and the last 7 days, and weigh in under Body Log.
What’s inside
- Sessions: date, type, minutes, distance, effort, pace and the total volume of the session.
- Exercises: muscle group, equipment, a form cue, your best estimated one-rep max and sets logged.
- Sets: weight × reps, volume and an estimated one-rep max (Epley formula) for every set.
- Body Log: weight and waist once a week.
Tips
- Log the set right after you finish it. Typing ten sets after the session never happens.
- Best 1RM is an estimate from your sets, most accurate at 10 reps or fewer. Read it as a trend.
- Kilograms or pounds both work, as long as you stick to one.
